Kali is one of our senior staff and has been Lifeguarding and teaching with L'il Stingers for over 10yrs
She was also a successful member of Cairns Stingrays Swimming Club and still races at club nights when she can.

Miss Kash
Swimming Teacher
Kash started teaching in Japan in the 1980's and was a dive instructor for 20 years. She has a loud personality but is very passionate about teaching swimming.

Swimming Teacher
Emma was a long term competitive member of the Cairns Stingrays Swimming Club and swam in the elite National Manta Rays squad.

Sue has been teaching at Lil Stingers since 2014. She teaches our baby classes.

Miss Immogen
Swimming Teacher
Immogen was teaching for many years in Townsville and joined Lil Stingers in Jan 2025.
She brings lots of experience to our swim school.

Miss Paige
Swimming Teacher
Paige is one of the newer instructors to join our Lil Stingers family. She comes with 4 years experience teaching and is also one of our Lifeguards so she understands how important it is for children to learn to swim.

Miss Jaz
Swimming Teacher
Jaz has been teaching for 12 years and moved to us in January 2026 from Shepparton VIC.
Jaz is currently in her last year of studies for Radiography. She brings a lovely bubbly personality to Li'l Stingers

Swimming Teacher
Mia is our newest instructor at Li'l Stingers but was a long term competitive member of the Cairns Stingrays Swimming Club when younger. She is now enjoying teaching and passing on the skills she developed.

All our teachers hold nationally recognised qualifications under either Swimming Australia, or AUSTSWIM.
We give constant feedback to swimmers, as well as provide recognition of each
individuals achievements through certificates and rewards.
We understand that as teachers, not one shoe fits all.
We cater to each individual, making sure that each experience feels
personal, and everyone gets the attention they need to be the best swimmer they can be.
